@kellykba We are in the final stages of vetting the proof copy of Farthest Star and are on target for our release date of 10/25 which will mark 7 years, 7 months and 7 days since Dawnbreak released, my first independently produced novel.

I broke from my publisher, got my rights back and went indie, and that was my best seller.

Now after a 5 year hiatus because of covid and other shenanigans I'm back !

@Museek The thing is, he and I both remember Katrina. We were both Truckers drivers then, and we remember how botched the relief effort was in places so the idea that it was botching again is easy to believe.

I'm back from my run and on my last day in Texas. My pace this morning was 9:30 per miles. I'm still feeling like I'm dragging chutes, and my HR is remaining elevated but I'm still able to do the work, which makes it imperative I do the work.

Tomorrow I'm off to Virginia and will make a stop in to see the amazing @wolfwoman She's a rad and groovy soul and I'm so excited.

Its time for the next phase of the journey!

So my parents were contacted by the people that bought our old house, to ask about a few things, and at the end of the conversation they started talking about weird happenings at the house.

"It sounds like you may have angry house spirits." I said.

Mom and Dad just stared...

Then I explained how to make offerings to them.

"What? I told you guys I was a heathen. This is why the neighbors are scared of us."
