@Museek Thank you for this. One of my partners is from North Carolina, and he's been hearing a lot of disturbing stuff. I sent this to him.

He heard from his Dad yesterday and praise the Gods they are ok.

@Museek The thing is, he and I both remember Katrina. We were both Truckers drivers then, and we remember how botched the relief effort was in places so the idea that it was botching again is easy to believe.

we had botched efforts too with the Red Cross. The whole reason I ended up helping a mute man was because the Red Cross lost him and I found him. The Red Cross is not as good as some of the other organizations in my opinion. WCK and Samaritans purse were ON it. Red Cross got a slow start but self corrected. The county was not prepared and we volunteered to act as an info hub which we weren’t prepared for either but we made it happen quickly. It’s chaos after a disaster.
