So my parents were contacted by the people that bought our old house, to ask about a few things, and at the end of the conversation they started talking about weird happenings at the house.

"It sounds like you may have angry house spirits." I said.

Mom and Dad just stared...

Then I explained how to make offerings to them.

"What? I told you guys I was a heathen. This is why the neighbors are scared of us."

@NiveusLepus I used to fantasize about going around sorting out haunted houses when I retired. Oh well.
