Good morning groovy souls!

I got to bed late, spending time with my husband. We're taking some time in a hotel to catch up and get away from things after six months with him working near constant overtime and me on the road pursuing my path and doing what I can in the world.

I overate some, we played games together, and are having a genuine good time.

I'm soon to run. Dietary and life setbacks are moments, they pass, but we can always do what we can in the next moments we're given.

Onward!

One of the elements I love most about being in airports is seeing the moments of joy. People excited to be going somewhere, or earnestly embracing. It’s an offset to the hustle and bustle, these reminders of joy, hope and connection that can be easy to miss if you don’t look.

Good morning groovy souls!

After a solid run yesterday and over 10 hours of loading and unloading moving trucks, and moving heavy furniture and boxes up and down stairs, I'm feeling pretty sore this morning.

As such I'm not going to run today, but will instead be doing some active recovery.

I leave Utah tomorrow for home. It's been a great trip!

It’s been interesting being in small town Utah. I’ve seen pride flags, lots of Trump flags, and a poem on a truck about Kamala not being black which seems like desperation and not in any way an argument. People are friendly though.
