Why do people get upset when they take advantage of a loophole to get something for free that costs a good deal to provide, and then are called on it and forced to pay up? So much I want it but don't want to pay for it in the world. Yeah, it sucks that money was invented and it's not always easy to get, but that's life. Cheating your way through it says more about you than those asking recompense for their efforts. If the shoe were on the other foot...
@Museek Not me, because I walked away from that platform when king birdbrain took over. The rest of you go on strike the sooner we get new management.
@dawnyriver Three birds with one stone. She steps out of line on this one, and she'll join him. Also, there are qualified judges above her that'll have none of it. Be confident, no one walks away from an indictment like that. Cheers!
@th3j35t3r Well, except for the French prostitutes during WWII who really felt they had to prove to the G.I.s how clean they were. And of course the G.I.s hated it and didn't insist at all that their wives and girlfriends shave when they came marching home.
@mitch_yea Probably not, but it might get you muted a lot.
@Brisse I'll be vewe quiet. 😁
@SentinelOfTruth Mel Brooks is still alive.
Once you make the change @Shadow298, you'll never look back. I'd say good luck, but you've got this. Cheers!
@Alfred Please define innuendo.
@Alfred What about The Birds?
@Alfred Reference this reply, what if you are standing next to Alfred Hitchcock?
A werewolf, a zombie and a umpire walk into a bar. The umpire says, "Damn you autocorrect!"
Not really. Congress and SCOTUS are equal status branches of the U.S. government. SCOTUS can't demand a Senator appear before then and the opposite is true. If Congres feels a justice is corrupt, they can impeach the justice just as they can impeach a President. Other than that, there is nothing the legislative or executive branch can do to the judicial branch. That's the way the founding fathers wanted it and it is 100% the rule of constitutional law. Cheers!
Actually @rpardee, driving on the beach in Oregon is not allowed on the majority of beaches. Those beaches where it might be allowed have permits and rules that must be observed. This article by a local car dealership is a good summary: https://www.wilsonvillesubaru.com/where-can-i-drive-on-oregon-coast-beaches/. Here's the more complicated not-a-summary from the state: https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/prp/pages/per-ocean-shore.aspx. You'll find that 9 times out of 10 you'll find no vehicles allowed; if in doubt don't. The fines for driving on an unauthorized beach are steep. Cheers!
