If the highways of your state are lined with giant signs advertising the hotlines for domestic violence, human trafficking, and every form of substance abuse there is...
...maybe spend a lot less time worrying about which restroom people are using and focus on the real problems
@stueytheround @Keep_Real @Stonekettle Omg, we all live in Tennessee?
@VenomousHeroine @stueytheround @Stonekettle
I’m not there right now, but I own a house there! Haha
@Stonekettle is Florida panhandle iirc please correct me if I'm wring, Jim.
@Stonekettle What, and actually be aware, not angry? How dare you, Sir! Our anger is the only thing distracting us from our problems.
We're so good at hyperfocus on all the wrong things. ☹️
@Stonekettle
In Oregon and Washington state, there are posters in the women's restrooms at hwy rest areas with the hotlines for human trafficking. The I5 corridor is huge for transporting trafficked individuals, unfortunately.
@Stonekettle
(sideways) Sign seen on the wall of women's restroom stall in rest area on hwy 26, between Portland and the Oregon coast.
@Stonekettle So.... I should worry about transgender people breaking into my house, beating up my loved ones, kidnapping them and doing drugs in the gendered bathrooms in my home, then?
@Stonekettle Indiana. 😞
@Stonekettle excellent point! ☝️
@Stonekettle But, the real problems bring in a lot of campaign cash. Transgender and other "issues" do not!
@Stonekettle Nail. Head. Direct hit.
