I am a prepper. Always have a good stock of food and supplies. When you live rural that’s pretty common. But this year I am so glad for it. Expanded the garden a bit this year so I can do more canning and dehydrating.

Yes, it’s terrible over there. I have blocked THOUSANDS. And yet, the other day I was followed by a MAGAt. I went to its page and it had already blocked me. I noticed that my account was unusually quiet, no retweets, no replies, no likes.

So I ran my account through the shadowban checker, and sure enough, shadowbanned.

That prompted me to try to find my login info for this site so I could get back here.

Awake to early and trying to be quiet so as not to wake everyone else up. It’s too early to get up and make coffee.

The one other creature in the house who’s awake is my cat. She’s purring and trying to get between my face and my iPad. I think she’s trying to tell me to put it away and go back to sleep.

Folks think they look tough, carrying guns to protests, to Statehouses, etc. But brandishing a gun in a way that puts another in reasonable fear of death or great bodily harm gives them the right to kill you in self defense in many (not all) states.

- doing family and friends advocacy to get them to vote (by mail where possible)

- donating small sums of money to various down ballot candidates

- helping in a local campaign that is trying to unseat a Trumpist
