@GoodBurger

Just wait. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s next.

@flygande_ren @altamaha

I will look it up, thanks. We eat a lot of summer squash. I usually grow black zucchini. We eat significant amounts in the summer, and I also put up zucchini soup and purée for winter use.

@WeThePeople

Bernie is also a Russian asset.

He got help from Putin in 2016.

He votes pro-Putin.

Interestingly, like 45*, he also refused to disclose his taxes.

So, some of us were talking about government cheese. That program for the poor was brought about due to government subsidies for the dairy industry.

Kids’ lunches are about to get cheesy again. Again to prop up Big Dairy. School lunch Regs are changing to prop up the dairy industry.

Morning coso!

Now that US is deeply divided (with alleged Russian agent at the helm) &the UK gov is in crisis re Brexit/no confidence votes etc

Funny how the 2 most influential western powers are now completly destabilized & in the case of the US...doing Putin's bidding

^^^ that is not fake news WE are purin's wet dream. My last fucking straw is the possibility of pulling out of NATO.

This is not a NATIONAL emergency-it's a GLOBAL emergency.

Sry so grim, but this IS grim

@GirlMeetsBrass @evistre

I like beaches of the northwest too. My favorite is actually in Alaska, on the Cook Inlet.

@CorreroM @Minholkin

LOL!

I did that once - I wore my comfortably warm wool clogs to work. I came back from court and happened to look down and saw my comfy but not very fashionable clogs. Oops.

😊

@tyghebright

Oh dear. But that sounds like a mistake, like they sent you the rejection email meant for the hordes of applicants. It would be EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL to cancel your interview with a canned email.

@CorreroM

Ironic. But wise.

Here, the husband of an acquaintance nearly died due to a botched hernia surgery. Some 3rd world nations have better health care systems than we do.

I am not sure if the Delaware pumpkin cannon explosion was deadly or just maiming - I don’t recall now. It’s been a few years. But I do recall the disappointment when it was announced that there would be no more Punkin Chunkin.

I would have happily dealt with wider safety zones around the machines.

@Jennifelroy @tyghebright @Madken65

Alas, Punkin Chunkin is dead in Illinois now. Following a deadly explosion of an air cannon at a show in Delaware a few years ago, the Illinois Fire Marshall decided that all air cannons would have to get annual certifications in this state. That effectively killed off the event here. 😿

@tyghebright @Jennifelroy

Love Punkin Chunkin. One of my favorite parts of autumn. 😻

@Jennifelroy @tyghebright

I have wanted a trebuchet ever since we saw one in action at a pumpkin festival.

The festival featured pumpkin cannons, catapults, and one AWESOME trebuchet. 😻 They all launched pumpkins at an old car out in a field.

We watched while eating pumpkin pie and sipping pumpkin spiced drinks. 🎃

@Stonekettle

I used to have a horse who would steal my tools (and, sometimes, clothes) and then frolick around with them in his mouth trying to get me to chase him. 🐴
