I was changing the duvet cover tonight on my and hubby’s bed and kiddo got really confused… then wide eyed. “Can you change my blanket’s skin too?!”
So I’m about to just slap a duvet cover on her comforter because I’m cheap. And resourceful.

Currently sitting in the radiology waiting room at the hospital. Scheduled lung screening appointment, no big.
But I have been here an hour and I'm the only person wearing a mask. Not even the staff are wearing masks. Not one of them. 🤬
Not sure why my masking makes anyone feel the need to convince me not to… when I work in a freaking hospital. Frankly I am disturbed no one else wears one.
Did we all collectively forget the 7,059,612 deaths from Covid worldwide? Do we no longer care if our children, spouses, or parents have comorbidities? Are we all pretending that could never ever happen again with a novel virus?
But yeah, tell me more about how you need to see my face. 🙃

I walked to the dollar tree today to get some decorating supplies for my inpatient nursing unit (because I am that coworker.) On my way back there is a bookstore and a BMV (among other things.) Outside the BMV were about 4 militia-looking dudes in tactical gear and armed to the teeth. Isn’t the BMV a government agency where weapons are disallowed on the premises?
Also… wtf? It’s northeast Ohio.
Trying for some mindfulness this morning. But isn’t it interesting, that word, mindfulness?
My mind is already so full! Just full of things that are the opposite of that which would soothe. 😓

Well shit. My neuromuscular ultrasound was freaking fine. Which means the problems I’m having with my right wrist and hand are most likely a complication in my neck. 😖 I cannot do another neck surgery. 🥺
This morning my daughter came to me and asked if she could have a first aid kit and some mints in her school backpack.
So yeah. #Preparedness passed down.
Bought a 10’ backyard trampoline for kiddo’s upcoming 7th birthday.
How much will I be regretting this decision when it comes time to assemble it?

@MotherDucker menu calendars are the best! My kid has long moved out but I still do a dinner chalkboard for the spouse because asking 'what should I thaw out?' then debating daily about the options is so annoying😂
I’ve got kiddo sitting at the table with a green and a red pen to mark the school lunch calendar so I don’t have to repeat the lunch menu and “are you packing or buying?!” six times a day while she’s distracted with playing, reading, singing, etc.
