So, my dog sitter is the Saint Roch of the modern era, and, as she does, she collected a runaway pup who was out in the road with its sibling/buddy (she couldnāt catch the brother). The dog had a collar, no tags, but quite clearly belongs somewhere. Sheās checked with surrounding homes, took to the vet to scan for a chip (none), and is now putting up fliers. I offered to post a picture and her info on Next Door even though I live a town away from where the dogs were. I get a notificationā¦
and there are two replies, both bitching about āwhy donāt people have fenced in yardsā and boohoo how theyāre so tired of these list animals because OF COURSE! I didnāt ask for your opinion ā Iām trying to help a dog find its family. But thanks for the time-waster. Go post your shitty opinion about how only people who can afford fenced in yards should have pets over on Facebook. Maybe the dogs jumped the fence. Do you know? NO. You donāt.
@Cosmichomicide Thank you. I needed that. š
