My first source of "instant happiness" are my cats. I am a proud Crazy Cat Lady and my cats never let me down. They also depend on me- so I can't dwell in darkness for too long- because they surround me with fur & purrs.

233 hungry were served in the Soup Kitchen tonight.

We spotted one man hunched over in our parking lot for a long time & were able to get him in to cool down. Found out he just walked over from the hospital after an operation w/nowhere to go & no family. 💔 After feeding him we were able to connect him w/available services to help him through the night & beyond.

We learned the woman who overdosed on Monday is alive & well heading into rehab.

Thank you to university student volunteers tonight.

Well it looks more and more like this guy will be a permanent addition to the dragon cave... no responses from any ads I've put out for owner.
He's completely bonded to me know and already knows Xena and mine's routine.
I've named him Loki because he's a prankster. Can leave the room and come back and a shoe has appeared mysteriously. 😆
