Something Iβve been harping on for years, will repeat: DO NOT attach snacks to performance in high poverty schools. No competitions for the bag of chips. Everyone gets (and deserves) food.

I'm currently reading Woodworm by Layla Martinez. It's a weird little ghost story, and I'm enjoying it.
But as much as the story, I love the physical book itself. The font, the layout, the fabric cover, the art and cover design.
So I looked up the publisher--and now I want all of their books.

Garlic mixed with sourcream for a little dip for the RΓΆsti potatoes.
Made the regional paper for a project presentation I had last night. In high school, public speaking -terrified- me. But now I'm used to presenting to 100+ people that look at me like I flipped their grandma off before starting. Last night was grumpy people, but less than 30 & mostly respectful, not mean in their disagreement. 2+ hours of it did wear me down though. And I had to wear pants the whole time.
Debating leaving early today for a nap, or save it to take a half day tomorrow.
