Dumplings are today's entry into my
#20Days20FoodsChallenge
So pork, chicken, beef, prawn, veggie... but make it dumplings.
Stream bank just down stream of my house is eroding after a landfill dropped an effluent discharge line here. I've called a few times about the erosion issue, but no response. So using some of my native black willow to propagate some live stakes
If half take hold it'll help the erosion. Just hoping the deer don'tunch them all.
Take pumpkin and let it boil long (jber syedenn) and chop it small. Take grated bread and cheese and put it in. Add saffron, pepper, cinnamon and mace to it and also break 6 eggs into it and add a little fat. Put it on the tart base and let it bake nicely. https://www.culina-vetus.de/2024/03/01/another-pumpkin-tart/

Anthurium (Mag Norte x Green Ace) x BVEP
Trying to figure out what this plant is that popped up in the front yard. I'm leaving towards noble yarrow over common yarrow because it has more fine needle like leaves. But the name Cream Flowered Sneezewort appeals to me enough that I want it to be that one. Kinda have to wait for it to flower to figure it out then.
Since it's #Caturday I guess we should do an "All hail the Deity of Noms" post.

Speaking of tacos, a new Mexican takeout place opened nearby and I tried it on Friday. First foray was elote and tacos al pastor. I will definitely be going back.
Today is National hot chicken day and National Turkey neck soup day!!!
Bit of a fowl holiday, but also yum.
