What an experience to witness a live release of 40 rescued sea turtles back into the Gulf. There were juveniles and adults who were cold stunned 10 days ago after the bay waters where they were feeding dipped below 50°. After medical checks and rehab, they are now back home.
We estimated 500 people, their largest crowd ever here for the event.
