Omg. Dude just informed me birria pizza is a thing. Immigrant food.
What is your favorite immigrant food and what groups of people are making it???

Ohhh, that's too hard to pick. It's mood dependent.

The newer Korean places popping up are awesome. I'm loving the taco truck we just found.

If the immigrants wanted to team up I would not stop them.
I'd demolish a Korean beef pizza if I had one. Or @stueytheround has shared the Yorkshire pudding burrito a bit ago.
Bring it all on. I'm an omnivore for all the yums.

@Kurtroedeger @stueytheround
When they team up and do fusion it's so great!
Look at this birria pizza! Served with limes, cucumbers, radishes and the dippy sauce as one does!!!

There's a few places here that have birria ramen, which I love.

I'm also a fan of the Brazilian pizza place.

But my favorite local cross-cultural dishes are:
A Chinese-Mexican place that does a chorizo fried rice.

The "Kimchi fries" that are curry-dusted fries topped with topped with pork belly or tofu, kimchi, cilantro, pickled jalapeΓ±os, spicy mayo, and an over easy egg

@tyghebright @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @stueytheround

Mmmm yeah

The Korean place that had kimchi tots closed and it makes me sad. Chorizo fried rice and birria ramen sound awesome!!

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @stueytheround @Kurtroedeger @tyghebright Chorizo is my best friend πŸ˜‹ in California 8 think it was Barro's pizza that had a chorizo sauce as an option for their pizzas that was always a good choice. I've made homemade pizza with chorizo or chorizo infused sauce myself to try and recapture the magic

@tyghebright @stueytheround @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @Kurtroedeger So many wonderful chorizos in the world! Grandpa would have us being him Cacique chorizo from California on visits to Tennessee before they were a bigger brand you could get outside of CA. The stuff made of offal that would reduce to a gritty red oil slick. Eat it straight with a torn tortilla. I love the hard Spanish slicing chorizo. Or the butcher block ground meat version with chunks of peppers in it πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
