So that new website that Georgia rolled out this week allowing you to delete a person‘s voter registration if you have their drivers license or Social Security number and DOB had a fun little glitch on Monday that lasted for about an hour.
The “glitch”?
It DISPLAYED the social security numbers, drivers license info and DOBs for everyone registered to vote in the state.
EXACTLY what Democrats worried could happen.

@Jezibaba We really need to combat voter suppression and manipulation. And get the word out about this fast. Suggest writing an OpEd or sending it to large news orgs, as well as to social media influencers. It is a serious problem.
We also need to challenge suppression tactics in court and advocate for stronger voter protection laws.
Educating voters about their rights and how to check their registration status might be good on an infographic.

@Jezibaba Republicans are manufacturing voter fraud concerns so that they can later point to those fraud concerns as a justification for refusing to certify state elections. This is a tried and true Republican tactic, and the DOJ is completely unwilling to do anything about it. It is hard to stand for law and order when law and order are a matter of personal financing.
