#digitalart #snapseed #icolorama I started noodling around on midjourney with a complicated set of instructions. At first this looked like it was shrouded in mist. So I took it into other programs to see if I could make the pumpkins glow. And get rid of the mist. So having spent half an hour trying to fix it I think it doesn’t look too bad. Not as good as a lot of things. I’ve seen this fall, but not too bad.
@Magnetron1 I stand with innocent human beings being destroyed on both sides, and so far I Israel has managed to kill about three times as many innocent Palestinians. I stand with stopping this. If you’d like, I’ll get you a link from a Jewish magazine calling this genocide.
I'm here off and on. Don't always comment a lot. But I wanted to share this information
For those who enjoy free ebooks I learned about a fantasy ebook giveaway tomorrow, the 6th of October.
I was an ARC reader for one of the books (Witch of the Lunar Order) and the author sent me this link in her newsletter.

@Dogofalltrees don’t care. #opinion #Apple #iPhone #randomquestion
On another site today, I was talking about my foster dog and everything. I’m doing with her right now regarding extinguishing, inappropriate behaviors and encouraging appropriate ones.
And one of my friends said he never understood how difficult it would be to foster a cat.
I replied: Thank God there is no foster cat big enough to drag a 150 pound person around. 🤣😆😂.

I tried it out. Racist. Alarmist. Every ist I can think of that is negative. And even when I tried to blow it away, it kept coming back trying to say, but don’t you really want to be on this program. At which point I blacklisted it
@sfleetucker I hate motion sickness. Do you have menieres syndrome? Hope you feel better soon.
Thinking of starting another blog page for foster dogs.
Improvements?
Furever home wanted for: 5-year-old spayed Boxer. Velcro, wants to be your lap dog. Eager to be your best friend.. Works for kibble/training treats. Starting obedience training. Rides well in car. Alert, friendly, rarely makes noise, non-aggressive. Wants to please. In training to be a dog model. ;)
Needs home with a tall fenced yard. No cats.
Ear amputated due to malignant nodule.
Dogs are funny. My foster dog is still decompressing. Today I gave her a small blanket to see if she wanted to arrange it for some thing fluffier on her bed. And she took a very great care with it, picking it up in her mouth and moving at all around. So that she could lay next to it…. Hey whatever floats her boat.
Only natural born citizens can be president. But you can hold any other office.
The qualifications for presidency do not address criminal records.
According to England, all the founding fathers were traitors.
It's one of the reasons that no matter how outraged about things I don't like (generally political) that I not fixate on wishing harm on others.
Justice? Sure. But the sword of justice is double sided. It cuts both ways.
Anyway, I'm going to go celebrate Poetry eating for the second time in three days.
She's a Boxer dog, very gentle, even timid. I can tell that once she was loved. I wish I knew what happened to her dog parents. (sigh)
Yes, some people never get it. It's exhausting and I'm not providing paid services in this area any more. If I were, I'd decline.
I have limits.
@C_H_Antony It's not compassion fatigue.
My soul dog died August 4th. I'm in agony. I was asked to foster an abused, neglected dog in the SPCA shelter who's had cancer surgery, agonizing heart worm treatment, and had to be re-fed due to starvation.
I wasn't ready to take another foster.
She's decompressing with me.
The cancer may have spread. She's very needy.
I'll save my compassion for her.
Ms. I Hate Everyone Not Like Me isn't on my list.
I have limits.
She had dozens of people praying for her. If I were someone who prayed, I'd be praying for her to get a clue.
Her hatred didn't kill her sister.
It wasn't karma.
But I'm not going to waste my time on someone who wraps themselves in hatred, the flag, and a repressive belief system.
Perhaps the next time she wishes horrible things on others she might realize that thoughts and intentions can boomerang.
Shakes head.

I have limits. Today there was someone weeping and wailing about the depth of her loss because her sister died. (not here)
For some reason, I looked at her account. Filled with vile hatred. Wishing death on others. Celebrating harm that befell others.
I used to do death and dying counseling. I could have reached out. Almost did.
Instead: blocked.
What goes around comes around.
Maybe she'll learn something from this. Doubt it.
@Priestess once upon a time I worked for Westlaw. Any opportunity for privacy went out the door around 2000. Just saying.
I was almost killed twice because my father was a judge and that was during the 1960s. It was a small town, and there was no way to protect our privacy.
I’m all about protecting the families of judges when it is possible. I sure didn’t deserve to die, because somebody got convicted by a jury, and the judge sentenced them to jail. I was still in high school.
@kel I mostly lurk in this sanctuary of normalcy. It’s wonderful to be someplace where everybody is not stark raving mad.
@VenessaG Bob McGough is going to be there and boy do I like his Southern Gothic “Jubal County” Series. I am so glad I met him on The Writing Tribe on Facebook. #DragonCon!
@CoyoteConscious @CinnamonGirlE when I was in law school, everything I read demonstrates that the death penalty is not an effective deterrent. It has never been an effective deterrent. It is revenge, pure and simple.
If you look at the psychological studies, it’s the same thing. It’s not a deterrent, even if you go back to “ the crime of punishment.”
We have known for decades the death penalty is not editor it, but we sure enjoy torturing people to death. We love revenge.
