Even with the incontrovertible proof, a lot of times, the people that are executed are not actually competent to be executed, but we do it anyway. We are executing people with mental capacity of eight year olds.
#WritingCommunity I have no idea why, I’m going to have to go ahead and check the settings, but for some reason this pre-order is listed under humor on Amazon. Does this sound like a book on humor to you?
@BPatrick3130 I have used it to say, “hey, did you guys stop carrying X”?”
@YouInMyEye already did.
@Graci yes. I am happy to hear that you do not have one today.
@tifroggie Irish? My father was Irish is potatoes were a thing.
@nnlightsbookheaven Happy Birthday to Nancy. 🎂
@Abyss1992 it is appropriate for “eXit” which is what is going on. 🤣
@nnlightsbookheaven I’m glad that you emerged from that safe. We have terrible thunderstorms that go through our area frequently. I think they finally managed to take down most of the tree limbs that could be taken down.
I make cookies for my favorite mail carrier who is working 14-hour days in an area of the country where the perceived temperature is often 115° plus in vehicle with no AC (a letter carrier died about 10 days ago as a result of heatstroke).
I can't give him anything that will melt, so this batch was oatmeal, raisin and hazelnut. I found out I'd need a lot more hazelnut to make a dent in the flavor. Oh, well.
Any recipes for tasty cookies that won't melt during this time of year?

I am an avid reader who writes UF.
I've recently been reading "Heaven and Hell, a History of the Afterlife" by theologian Bart D. Ehrman who is now an agnostic.
Pagan, Jewish, Christian analysis. I recommended this book to another #writingcommunity to find interesting nuggets.
My brother used to attend Ehrman's lectures in Chapel Hill, NC where he still teachers. It's how I discovered this author.
@ianthealy I get a 404 on that link. It said your publishing company? Because Umbralings is just for undies. Circle of Origin as well.
@ianthealy check out Umbralings on Discord.
@ianthealy do you have a newsletter or something? This may be the first time I realize that you are an author. I went to your page and I linked from there to Amazon and I downloaded your first book so that I can take a look at it. It doesn’t look like it would be urban fantasy or I would suggest that you go to Umbralings on Discord. I connect with a lot of people there because I do write urban fantasy. I connected on Threads, for the same reason which had to do with promotion/advertising.
@TrueBloodNet I hoped it was some sort of auto correct error, or you were making a joke. I’m not sure. I would taste very good being long pig. 😉
How intriguing you decided to be a druid at age 3. At age 3 I didn’t know there was anything such as a druid. Of course, it was a different time then and I lived so far out in the country that we didn’t have a Library we had a bookmobile.
A lot of druids are agnostics. It’s as much a philosophy as a religion.
@Classical_Dee you are absolutely right about how difficult it is to become an American citizen at this point in time. When I practice law, I did not practice immigration lol but one of my friends does and it is extremely expensive and time consuming.
@LiberalLibrarian i poked around a little bit and the attorney used to work in criminal law agency in Florida. That being said, the only reason they need him is because the main attorney is pro hac vice.
