Man, school is kicking my ass rn. Granted, I am taking TWO accelerated classes (16 weeks worth of work done in 8 weeks) at the same time. So, I kinda expected this. But, so far I’m managing and staying afloat. #school #lifeupdate

Sully is driving me nuts. Both he and his brother cried loudly for their brunch 6-1/2 hours ago, then he decided that he didn't LIKE this food and ate only about 1/2 of what was in his bowl. Over the course of the next hour, I patiently coaxed him into finishing another 1/4 of it, then he put his furry little paw down and refused to eat any more so I disposed of what was left. Mid afternoon, he decided he was hungry again and began screaming for more food.

Tough luck, kid. Dinner's at 6:30.

After fretting and struggling to save money for years to get out of Texas, I finally have a workable plan.

I will be moving to Tacoma, Washington next May or June.

I'd been thinking Portland, but Washington has no state income tax (which is also true of Texas, and I didn't look forward to that additional expense). And Tacoma is slightly cheaper than Portland.

My sister lives in the Seattle area, and is buying a home on the outskirts of Tacoma, too. It'll be good to be close to her.

My people, I should not be trusted to run around Target unsupervised…
