🤔Has anyone ever cooked or eaten a Bubba Burger? And yes, that's the name😁If so, whatcha think?

@Gramdma2011 I have their vegan burgers. They aren’t bad. Not a beyond burgers but pretty tasty. Can’t speak to their other ones of course lol

@Evvie My poor hubby tried to eat my bad cooking yesterday😂; didn't come out quite right. Will try again, I'll just cook differently

@Gramdma2011 🤣 I add Cajun spice to the vegan ones to give them so added flavor.

@Evvie I use Tony Chachere & roasted garlic powder most of the time + whatever seasoning I decide to experiment with that day. I experiment a lot with different seasons & flavors; I can stand in the seasoning aisle with glee😂 I also randomly add various veggies to stuff to test a new flavor🤦

@Gramdma2011 I LOVE TONYS! Lol Here’s a funny thing when I first moved to New Orleans the very first time I was looking for work to kind of fill my days while I was getting other stuff started and I interviewed for an exec job at a spice making factory. There were so many spices in the air just around the building that as soon as I opened my car door to get out in the parking lot I had a 15 minute long sneezing fit 🤣

@Gramdma2011 We absolutely love them. We use them exclusively for the barbecue. I season them with a touch of salt, Montreal steak seasoning and desiccated garlic. Magnifique. Also they are real meat, and approximate their weight cooked, unlike many off brands.

@Jsabinas I cooked them in a cast iron pan on med high. They browned/cooked through; yes real meat, but mine just weren't quite tender; too chewy but w/good flavor (Beefy Onion & roasted garlic). Ugh; maybe next time I'll put them on a grill or will fry differently. I don't know what happened; usually good at making frozen taste good. The only reason I bought them was because the grocery was out of all fresh beef & I'd heard they were good; they are very tasty, but texture wasn't right🤷‍♀️

@Gramdma2011 I wasn't as fond of the onion. Let me recommend cheese for those. Make em cheeseburgers. But defrost them, season, and if no grill, try broiling.

@Jsabinas Ohhhh; cooked them from frozen🤦Duh; I should have known to thaw them first(because, real beef); I believe that's what was wrong. I will broil them next time. I will conquer these Bubba burgers next time!😂 The name makes this NYer 🤣

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine How did you cook them? I tried to fry some yesterday; came out kind of rubbery. Tasted steak-like, but compressed so tightly, needed a knife to slice. I chalked it up to cooking it too high or just totally wrong; a horribly failed experiment 😁

Hubs tried to eat them to not hurt my feeings, but after watching his face, I took his plate & fried him some pork chops🤣My dogs ate good though🤷‍♀️

@Gramdma2011 @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine Defrost them first. Then yeah, grill them. They won't fry well, I would think.

@Gramdma2011 Its been a while. They're not bad, lots of air though.

@ClutchHicks I found out here that I should have defrosted before cooking.🤦As much as I cook, that one slipped by. Pain meds affect my normally logical at times. The bad thing is that my husband asked me if he should take them out to thaw a bit & I told him no😂🤷‍♀️
