The top-ranking Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee rings the alarm on the "national security threat" posed by Donald Trump's nomination of turncoat Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence.

This just can't be ignored...

It's quite pricey out there, but gorgeous. Have a friend that lives in Everette. A person I know in real life. Went out to visit once a long time ago.

Out by the coast is good, too. East side of the state is quite red, west side blue.

Some Thanksgiving reminders to keep your furry friends safe when they turn on their “but MOM! I was a starving stray!” charm.

@janallmac It does seem silly at times, but it's better than being eaten by tigers or bears while you're lugging your sack of gold or fur pelts to the general store to buy flour and sugar, and maybe a bolt of cloth to make cloths for the family.

I've also thought about money 💰 and pretend money, like checks and credit cards. And now there's the electronic transfers where there's no physical objects being transferred back and forth that represent money.

Bartering can be awkward.

There’s still time to order an absolutely awesome pecan pie from Potter Country Store in Schulenburg Texas. I used to stop there on drives between Houston and San Antonio. The pie is a great “bring along” to a Thanksgiving meal (unless you’re dining with folks with nut allergies…) pottercountrystore.com/
