Question of the Day: Who would be the most interesting person to be stuck in an elevator with?
@GaryPoole The elevator repair person?
Jack Black.
we would sing all the songs until we were rescued.
@GaryPoole John McClain
Back in the day I would've said Robin Williams or Eddie Van Halen. Now I'd pick Jon Stewart.
Tina Turner.
Not only do I love her music, she was lifelong Nicherin Buddhist which we have in common. Love to know how she
applied her practice in the music industry.
Conversely, that person is stuck in the elevator with me, so... probably best I take the elevator alone.
I'll have to think about it and get back with you - after the panic of being stuck in an elevator eases. 😂
That’s why I chose Tina Turner. She was Nichiren Buddhist as well. We could have chanted together to release fear.
Now that is a thought that oddly helps sooth the panic.
@GaryPoole
The person who invented the escalator, during their epiphany.
@GaryPoole Steve Strogatz

@BrentSullivan @GaryPoole Good answer!
@NiveusLepus @GaryPoole
I saw this sign at a demonstration and the clarity of that one sentence changed me
@BrentSullivan @GaryPoole We are all interbeing, we rise as distinct waves, but even the most distinct waves are not separate from the ocean.
So what then is death, but a return to source, only to rise again...
Onward, toward the far horizon!
Superman. Second choice a firefighter.
I do not like elevators at all. Rooms with no windows freak me out. I figure those 2 have the best chance of getting us unstuck
@GaryPoole . It depends. Am I armed? Do I have immunity?
@GaryPoole I would have to say @Madken65. That guy keeps me in stitches with his pet conversations!
Hey Say What, appreciate the kind words...your check is in the mail.
@Madken65
