I know it's very hard to pick just one flavor, but when forced to choose I tend to pick some form of caramel swirl ice cream.

Most popular answer from my listeners this morning was Mint Chocolate Chip, but I also had one listener answer "lasagna".

I have weird listeners.

@GaryPoole

Could not possibly isolate one flavor as a favorite. 😀

@GaryPoole

When I can get it:
(a) pistachio
(b) black raspberry
(3) lemon (not sherbet)

But I'm with you on caramel swirl as a good everyday fave.

@GaryPoole

When I was a child, Baskin Robbins used to sell a flavor called Mandarin Chocolate--dark chocolate with orange. Can still get chocolate bars with that combination, which I still love.

Our current favorite is Blue Bell Vanilla Bean--light, clean flavor with a texture like homemade ice cream (i.e. it melts quickly).

@ChelseaGirl429 I remember that one. They stopped selling it back in the mid-80's, if memory serves.

@GaryPoole

So exotic in the early 60's small-town world of grocery-store chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry!

Sorry that it's no longer a thing, but ice cream has certainly evolved.

@GaryPoole

My fave frozen dessert is cucumber sorbet. Mmmmm

But if you're sticky about it being actual ice cream, I prefer coffee ice cream.

@GaryPoole - basil, orange & pineapple, cherry/chocolate, bees knees (honey/graham cracker)

@GaryPoole
It used to be chocolate but since Covid it doesn’t taste right to me so I have to go with coffee or maple walnut

@GaryPoole I like combining strawberry and coconut ice cream.
