I posted this and later realized that I have literally years of experience living at least this close to a dozen diesel motors grinding 24/7, pipes clanging and people yelling. So I don't know why I even brought it up. I guess I'm just a whiny old dude anymore.

Well 5:00 pm came and went and I just realized that the diesel pump in the street that's been running all day, sitting 30 yards away from my very open bedroom window is going to continue to run all night. I kind of thought they'd turn it off at 5:00 when they went home. But they apparently didn't get a temporary fix in the sewer line so run it must. 😕

Well got back to the house in PR and found it's been bugged! Evil weevils! I don't know how I forgot to put that bag of flour in a plastic bag or container. Worst was I thought it was termites at first. I picked up a straw hat sitting on the dresser and put it on my head noting just as it went past my eyes that it was full of bugs.

Good morning, all, arrived at 1:00 a.m. , have an 8:00 a.m. flight out. No coffee shop 🥱. Lots of seating, but no laying spaces, in airports should be criminal. It's not like the homeless are coming here to lay down. You have to get through TSA first. What are people supposed to do that have overnight LAYovers. And when lots of people get stranded due to weather or other flight delays. Oh, and the air conditioning is set like a walk-in cooler. #travel ✈️

He had to pull all the circuits out to install a grounding bar that was left out. And we had to run different ground to the new outside panel. Several other fixes were needed for the previous guys work around the house.

I worked til 9 last night running new electrical in conduit with my electrician friend who showed up after his work day. Earlier in the day I cleaned up the downstairs unit for new guests and then went over and helped my other electrician buddy rewire the panel that the original "electrician" I ran off had done wrong. Now that guy's suing me for payment but both my union electrician buddies say he hasn't got a foot to stand on. So it goes. ✌️

Good morning all off for my annual physical that Medicare allows me. My cholesterol and blood pressure will probably be up. But only to the lower edge of concern. So I try to deal with it by diet and exercise. I ain't taking no bloody pills.

The square footage they estimated is ~30% larger than the actual area of tile. Extras and add-ons that are unneeded. And they will destroy the subfloor and charge her extra to fix that because they won't be able to pull up the Hardie board without screwing up the half inch decking.

She knows I could have installed it but went to Costco and had a bid/ quote prepared. I reviewed it and I'm just incensed and about to go to Costco and kneecap somebody. They're taking advantage of a 72-year-old lady who has no idea. Made her pay all up front. Wouldn't commit in writing to hauling away.
