Good morning, all, arrived at 1:00 a.m. , have an 8:00 a.m. flight out. No coffee shop 🥱. Lots of seating, but no laying spaces, in airports should be criminal. It's not like the homeless are coming here to lay down. You have to get through TSA first. What are people supposed to do that have overnight LAYovers. And when lots of people get stranded due to weather or other flight delays. Oh, and the air conditioning is set like a walk-in cooler. ✈️

@FireMonkey I travel with my sleep system packed up in my backpack because it makes getting stranded easier, and because, I need to sleep wherever I'm going, of course.

It's nice to be able to unroll your sleeping mat when you're stuck.

Thank you my furry friend, yes I masked up for most of the trip. And trusted the pilot to take the plane ✈️ up in the air and bring it back down again. 😆 🙏

@FireMonkey My grandfather would counsel me to always check the pilots breath before I fly.

I often replied, whats that going to do, make it less of a surprise?

@FireMonkey if I have a long enough layover, I'll shop around for airline clubs. You can usually pay a nominal fee for a day pass, and they'll often have fully reclined seats in the lounges. Usually a buffet and drinks, sometimes even a shower.

No such thing in the San Juan airport, AFAIK, especially at 1:00 a.m. No drink machines. No snack machines. All stores are closed and they're not that many of them.
