Canada. Where at least healthcare is covered for all.
@singlemaltgirl
Both your numbers are much larger than what I'm familiar with, but that doesn't negate your conclusion. Thank you.

Although I always value your opinion, I'm delighted that all of your previous posts were filtered out by to my filters. 😉
If I do the math right, 180,000 homeless in CA. Newsom has 24 billion to deal with the problem.
$50k/person =$ 9B. $50k is a commonly cited # for per person homeless costs to local/state for services, medical, law enforcement, etc.
Housing 180k persons for 3yrs, I'm pretty sure cuts your problem way down.
Newsom’s office touts that it’s dedicated $24 billion to addressing the housing crisis and “helped lift more than 165,000 people out of homelessness and into interim or permanent housing.”
@LiberalLibrarian
Did he say that? Or did he say what @CanisPundit offers below, which is that he will withhold an endorsement until she can offer some more concrete promises on the issues that Bernie has always fought for. If that's all it is then he's just being a politician and negotiating for good things for good people.

This is Puerto Rico. 91F inside. Ceiling fans do wonders. This is enough to take the edge off. Don't need it to be 68. Hell, I'll probably be chilled if I set it to 80F.

You're a good friend.
@awnaves
Huh, don't know him. I'll look him up.

She expressed her appreciation and that she hadn't heard of counter social, so I recommended it to her if she needed some social media that didn't grind on your soul.
@Sr0bi
Mr Cool has that setup. Not sure how it works. Must have pre-evacuated the lines, and some snazzy coupler that pierces/opens the seal. They're more expensive, making it worthwhile to install regular ones. I can get a vacuum pump and hoses and gauges for a couple hundred bucks, probably. I just wish I could rent one but again it would be about the price of buying it. I'm frugal. I'll do it myself.
@LnzyHou
This is a Quul, from HDepot, which may be Midea. I bought it new-in-box from a guy who didn't use it.
@LnzyHou Gehzuntit!
Good friday morning all! ☕🌞
Coffee time is finished. Off to wire in power and comms to my new mini-split outside unit. Inside is hung and ready. I'll connect tubing, then have to find an HVAC guy or buy/rent a vacuum pump and gauges to evacuate the lines before I can start it up. I've got calls in to two HVAC people, but no response. Have another to contact, but after that I just go by the gear and do it myself -- that's how I've learned to do everything. ❄️❄️❄️
@JerichoTaskerDeaux
I use those for ages out in the boonies and then they killed analog signals and all the bag phones went away.
It left a giant digital hole where people couldn't get service and many still can't.
@Kinnison
Well done, smoothly done...I'm thinkin
@AndersonArtwork
I sent her some $$ via Venmo. Last 4 of her phone would let donors be sure it is her, but I sent it anyway. So fucking heartbreaking. I hate the US medical lottery we all have to play.

Henry Gibson?
Good to see him if so.
