Yeah I'm lousy at staying in touch with people I've known for years and years and years. You start to take it for granted and then text out to one of them saying "Hi I'm a shitty friend. Sorry I haven't said hello" and they respond "No I'm a shitty friend. I haven't reached out either." and then another 10 years passes.

Welp, there's 15 years of that hair done with. I've always worn it either shorn or long, for decadal periods. I very much like it short. I very much like it long. Time for a new look.

I do agree his timing was off. He's used to reading the news in individual little clips and he doesn't have the connected timing to land his jokes.

Looks darn nice! If you say that price is good for that area, I don't see anything horrible. But get inspections. It's a 100+ year-old house. And I don't have much good to say about inspectors. But if they see anything then you get an electrician to look at electricity. A carpenter to look at carpentry a plumber to look at plumbing, etc. Inspectors also cover their ass a lot. So don't think it's going to be comprehensive necessarily.

I think the jokes landed too close to the journalists...it was critique clothed in yes, dry, comedy. Colin is the head writer/producer of SNL and host of the Weekend Update segment along with Michael Che. He is married to Scarlett Johannsen, so he must be doing something right. 😉

My god, Colin Jost delivered biting comedy and the press corp was like a corpse. He kept looking left and right trying to figure out why his jokes weren't landing.

Enjoy your zone appropriate beverage of choice ☕🍺🍷as I toast to finally getting my friend's 80 day drought ended. Booster pump installed and several ugly electrical issues cleaned up and made safe in the process. There was 240v in a broken wet conduit joined in a mangled interior J-box that I feel good about now. The gate box was all broken too, now safe. Still need an in-use weather cover for it.
