Well, good morning 🌞
I found a couch in a closed restaurant - my usual overnight airport ploy - and woke at 04:15 to find I was upgraded to 1st class. At 04:45 I was comfortably seated with coffee, Omelette and bloody Mary on the way. Now boarding for my final flight into a snowstorm. πŸŒ¨οΈβ„οΈπŸ₯Ά

To the I'm-not-voting-because-nothing-gets-done crowd:

Do you know how to make Congress work again? Put a majority of 218+ Dem and Independent reps in the House, and a "super" majority of 60+ in the Senate.

Do you know how they would get there? Voting.

You can't accomplish this if you don't vote.

Good morning CoSovians. 🌞
Travel day. Slept little to wake at 5 for early flight. Then all day in Old San Juan before the next flight this evening. Then overnight layover and 2 more flights before arrival. I love OSJ and that will be a mini-vacation. Overnight in an airport not so much.

Travel is fun. /s

@GaryPoole
Good morning Gary.
Enjoy your coffee.
Perhaps call it WFK vs. WFH. 😁

@AliceTheWonderNaut
Perhaps the Hatter joined the AdAMan club for a trek up Pikes Peak on New years Eve and has been stargazing at night and dancing in the snow daysides. If so I hope he brought his jacket and mittens, a long with one of his warm hats! This is my guesstimated prophecy #2.

Here's another benefit of LEDs. The power is out, but apparently a few volts are rolling in because my LEDs are on and my ceiling fans are turning. Slowly, but I bumped them up to high and they're moving at about slow speed. Okay even as I typed this the power came back on. But that's pretty neat.

@AliceTheWonderNaut
Alrighty then - I'll have to guess some more - so I put $5 in the pot. I'll make 4 more guesses...

Thanks for making this fun.

@AliceTheWonderNaut
Mad Hatter is having Deep dish pizza with the 'roos at the Chicago Zoo!

@LnzyHou
Sounds delish!
This stand was mentioned in SM in Thailand - a friend's son was there teaching ESL and noticed it - and told us about it so we went looking for it -- 3 blocks from home.

@LnzyHou
And simply doing whatever comes to mind or need, whenever it's convenient. Like now, I need a single PVC part. I'm going to walk down to the ferreteria, say hi to folks in the street, maybe pick up a hot dog from the stand nearby. I get in some walking. I take alt routes to see what's up where. It may take an hour. So? πŸ‡΅πŸ‡·

@JeffreyMHebert
Each may source a different weather provider...check settings, change them to match if you want same, use different ones to see which gives you the most reliable forecast for your location.

The term "Luddite" as a pejorative synonym for "technophobe" was a technocrat PR coup; that's not what Luddites were about. They were a labour movement fighting to give workers control over technologies which were advancing w/o oversight and rapidly automating them out of their jobs. Sound familiar?

@nealfig
Colorado Springs also home to one of those camps. I forget the name, or details, but it was west of town in the foothills.

@LnzyHou
You'll still want to hit carpet with a regular vacuum once in a while, but if you let Broom Hilda to do her thing, she'll keep the visual chunks picked up.

@Kinnison
She was definitely hiding out around the corner like a puppy that's gotten into some place they weren't supposed to.
