The best part of retirement is no attachment to the day of the week.
Is it Monday? Who cares?
The associated anxiety about day-related issues passes when it no longer matters.
How I wish I could have achieved this more zen mindset when working.
The other side is literally not knowing what day it is. Appointments must be alarmed by Alexa or I miss them.
Breathe in equanimity 💫

And simply doing whatever comes to mind or need, whenever it's convenient. Like now, I need a single PVC part. I'm going to walk down to the ferreteria, say hi to folks in the street, maybe pick up a hot dog from the stand nearby. I get in some walking. I take alt routes to see what's up where. It may take an hour. So? 🇵🇷

Sounds delish!
This stand was mentioned in SM in Thailand - a friend's son was there teaching ESL and noticed it - and told us about it so we went looking for it -- 3 blocks from home. #SmallWorld
