I will accept fellixes logic that a club sandwich is not the same as stacking multiple sandwiches but that still doesn't mean lasagna isn't a club sandwich with many layers.

Somewhat related, I'm finally getting the hang of gluten free lasagna. The counterintuitive thing about making it GF is to not cook the noodles before layering, and rest it at least 10 minutes after it comes out instead of cooking it for additional time.
