It took me a decade (give or take) to get it right.

I survived Thanksgiving!

I didn't eat anything and was asked how my Dad was, twice, by people that didn't know he'd passed, BUT..I got to hold TWO sweet babies (my niece and a cousins baby) so, it wasn't too bad.

First major holiday without my Dad. First major holiday without BOTH my parents.

I'm driving the struggle bus. Bummed. Sad. I don't want to go to my in-laws tomorrow, but if I say that to husband, it'll be a fight and he and the kids will go without me. He'd rather show up for them (can't let them down!) and be absent for me. "I'm fine." I'll tell everyone, as I find a quiet place to hide, until he decides he's ready to leave.

I am feeling a lil "off" this morning. It's most likely my anxiety fucking with me.
Daughter was a lil snuffly this morning and said her head hurt.

Is it bad that I *kinda* hope we are coming down with something, so we can skip Thanksgiving with the in-laws? lol

I love them, but it's a lot of people and I really don't feel up to it.

Welp. Eldest made it to 21 with no kids! Hooray! That beats me (20), his g-ma (17) and MY g-ma (19).

Can't believe he's 21......Sheesh.

Just finished book #78 for the year. Closing the gap, but still behind my goal of 100. #CosoBooks

I'm ready for a nice fall storm. Lots of rain, some wind....maybe a couple hour power outage....#PNW

My son is cleaning up/fixing up his old PC, to give to a friend cause she doesn't have one. He said money is tight for her family and he wants to do something nice for her for Christmas. He plans on getting in touch with her Mom, so it will be a surprise gift from him, under her tree on Christmas. 😄

Cleaning and trying to organize
my office/craft room and realizing that I have a lot of crafting shit and need more space. SMH

I've turned into my Mother. Fuck.

I just ordered myself a new hot glue gun, and new pillows. Pretty stoked about both.

Is sleeping soundly through the night a thing ANYONE does? Without medication?

I wake up 15 times, toss and turn, get too cold, then too hot, then too cold, get up to pee, get a drink of water, then pee again an hour later.....Then when the alarm goes off, my body just HURTS. Neck, back, even my feet hurt when I first get up in the mornings...*sigh*

I iz tired.

Did I just drop sushi on the floor?

Gonna drop the kiddos off at school, then head to Wally-World to get some stocking stuffers.

I do not have to pick anyone up, until after 5pm today! What will I do with all that time?! lol

The yarn I ordered showed up today, so I can finish crocheting the Snoods I'm making for my Sister in Law, Step Mother In Law and son's girlfriend. My daughters is finished.

Feeling pretty good about my Christmas prep so far! 😄

My delivery drivers know my house well. I am sure when they see a box with my name on it, it's "Oh, this bitch again!? Does she ever stop!?" lololol

Pinterest. SMH. Again with the "We've taken down your pin" but they don't tell me, or SHOW ME, what pin!

I get these emails weekly now. *sigh* Imma just, stop pinning shit. Really. All I pin is food and pretty nail polished nails....I don't get it.

I'm thankful for Kindle Unlimited, but man oh man.....There's a reason some of the books on there (for "free").

I know I've complained about this before....but the typos!!! How hard is it to proof read before you publish?! I can guarantee if I were putting out stuff I'd written, I'd be quadruple checking it BEFORE I hit that "publish button".

The eldest child and his GF are getting practical stuff for Christmas. I ordered toothpaste, dryer sheets, dish soap, dishwasher packs, Top Ramen, Jelly Beans, a variety pack of snacks and a giant thing of TP, all from Costco.

They'll get some "fun" stuff in stockings, but as adults with their own apartment, I thought "practical" and "needed" items were warranted.
