@CherNohio Nice :) We got into the habit of having a Vietnamese-ish coffee during knockdown. (didn't get round to buying the proper dripper, though).
@MLClark There's been plenty of tea but contemplating a coffee to mix things up. I've also fallen down 'the history of coffee' rabbit hole on YouTube. ☕
@bmacmixer I'll be sure to have porridge on pancake day. 😁
Bugger! I had pancakes! 😄

Gentle reminder this Mental Health Day that being ill-adjusted to late stage climate death capitalism is in fact a sign that something in you is still invested in your survival. Your body/mind knows the system is wrong and it's not going down without ringing all the alarms first.
Also, living in a ship that's on fire with all its alarms going off at once, while everyone tells you the fire and alarms are your fault, sucks. I see you, shipmate.
It's World Mental Health Day
Please check out @HoldOnSongs for music to fight the darkness.

"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened."
-- 'The Book' from The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Remember: illness isn't always overt; some people look bright on the outside but are in darkness on the inside.
It's not always the 'end of the world stuff' that causes it, either; a little chip here, a little chip there widens the cracks. Everything is subjective.
You're not expected to be psychic, but please do try to be mindful.
It's World Mental Health Day.
I have type 1 diabetes, tinnitus, TMJ syndrome. It's tiring to also have to be a functional human. I have anxiety and depression; cycles of dark disturbing thoughts/scenarios.
I manage best I can: talk, rest, made health decisions over career decisions; avoid negative social media, people, subjects.
The 'black dog' strikes eventually, when least expected - and not just on a bad day/week.
It's OK not to be OK! 💙

@TrueBloodNet 'living flowers' - I like that! 🤗
@Kinnison @heyitsmikeyu Agree with it being used as swear, a blanket slur, just like 'woke'. As a political ideology / system of government, I'm not entirely sure, but as a Welsh type 1 diabetic not needing to find $1,000's per month, to cover health insurance and insulin etc to stay alive, and also pay the bills, our 'socialist' healthcare system is one of the best things we have in this country. Yes, NHS is buckling, but there are wider political issues there.
@TrueBloodNet I'm stopping by tomorrow and shall be sure to pass that on.
Thank you. 👍
@TrueBloodNet The males are on their own, the one on the right started building a bubble nest so he put a female in there.
@TrueBloodNet Thanks. Dad's been trying to convince me to have one; though I've no clue about keeping fish, I was quietly hoping to adopt him. There are three others, and one is also courting, so may have babies soon.
@tirebiter73 I rather enjoyed it, actually.

I enjoy photography, comics, retro and racing games, electronic music, and Oxford commas; I also endorse semicolons.
