I'm loving that the #Libre app now auto updates BG readings every minute.
I didn't know how I'd do without 3rd party app's widgets but all good so far: just set alerts in the Libre app.
There is a bug with Android where 'do not disturb' disables high/low alarms, despite correct permissions being set in the app to override DND.

Bloods rose to the high teens overnight. Revenge of the peanut M&Ms, or revenge of the hot crossed bun? 🤔 Whichever makes for the better movie title, I guess. 😜 #diabetes
Having a low carb day after yesterday's highs,
#diabetes is dancing in the goldilocks zone and I'm feeling a hell of a lot better for it. 🤘
🎶 What a difference a day makes. 🎶
Well, it's clear that my diabetes' new year's resolution isn't to stop being such an annoying prick... #diabetes #t1d #HighAsAKite
November 14th is World Diabetes Day.
I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on the 16th January 2009; I had just turned 30 years old.
As with many chronic conditions it meant sudden life changes; a different outlook. Diabetes management is an additional full-time job, 24/7, 365.
There are highs and lows; it's almost constantly 'there', monopolising thoughts, decisions, plans. Diabetes can take its toll on mental health.

No matter how many jokes and myths and stigmas abound, sugar does not directly cause diabetes.
However, sugar DOES cause inflammation and insulin resistance in the body, and eating an excessive amount of added sugar can lead to weight gain... #diabetes #diabetesawareness

Amazing how, when my bloods go from single to double figures, I go from 'let's do this' to 'I couldn't motivate myself to exit a burning building'. #diabetes
It’s #WorldMentalHealthDay - and a good time to remind myself that mental healthcare is #diabetes healthcare.
It's #diabetes #HypoAwarenessWeek
The full name for a hypo is hypoglycaemia. It’s when your blood glucose level (also called blood sugar) is too low, usually below 4mmol/l.
Low blood sugar can happen if the balance of diabetes medication you take (especially insulin), food you eat and physical activity you do sometimes isn’t right. More info at: https://www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/complications/hypos
Any other Diabetics on #CoSo? Surely I'm not the only one with an anarchist pancreas? 😅
