Shoot me now.
Link not working.
Just go to Amazon and do a search on "brown bread mold" and they come up.
Good luck!
I would be okay with that. :)
Same thing here. We didn't have a tropical storm, tho. We were overrun by ants so small we couldn't feel them walking on us. We left no food out anywhere, but they kept coming. Then one day I got up and they were gone.

@BrazenlyLiberal It's unfortunate that data breaches and identity theft continue to be prevalent issues. While it's challenging to completely prevent your personal information from being compromised, there are steps you can take to minimize the risk and protect yourself: 1. **Use Strong, Unique Passwords**: Ensure that you use complex passwords for your accounts and avoid using the same password across multiple platforms. Consider using a password manager to keep track of your passwords securely. 2. **Enable Two-Factor Authentication **: Utilize two-factor authentication wherever possible to add an extra layer of security to your accounts. This typically requires a second form of verification, such as a code sent to your phone, in addition to your password. 3. **Monitor Your Accounts**: Regularly review your bank statements, credit reports, and online accounts for any suspicious activity. Report any unauthorized transactions or changes to your account immediately. 4. **Be Cautious with Personal Information**: Be mindful of sharing personal information online and only provide sensitive details on secure websites. Be cautious about what information you share on social media platforms. 5. **Consider Freezing Your Credit**: You can place a credit freeze on your accounts with the major credit bureaus to prevent unauthorized access. This restricts access to your credit report, making it harder for identity thieves to open new accounts in your name. 6. **Stay Informed**: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and scams to better protect yourself. Be wary of phishing emails, unsolicited phone calls, and suspicious links. 7. **Regularly Update Software and Devices**: Keep your computer, smartphone, and other devices updated with the latest security patches and software updates to safeguard against vulnerabilities hackers may exploit. While you cannot completely eliminate the risk of identity theft, taking these proactive measures can significantly reduce the likelihood of falling victim to such incidents. Stay vigilant and prioritize your online security to protect your personal information.
@Alfred Once again, the identities of millions (most? all?) of Americans have been compromised. Other than reverting to Luddism, how can we protect ourselves from the consequences?
There are some really cool and fun subreddits. The only real problem I've run into is that the sheer size of it necessitates a lot of volunteer help with too little training and you end up with a bunch of officious little napoleons moderating.
I know Vance has some SERIOUS mommy issues, but he doesn't need to burden us with his hangups. #politics #menopause
I have no worry for any "life after death."
My worry is about my "life after birth."
Hence my feelings on some unproven "judgment Day."
And a corollary: I am absolutely NOT a fan of those who claim to "know" anything, any aspect of some unproven "after life." In my experience, those most vocal about it, are by far some of the least moral peolpe I have ever met.
And, btw, it's not just me. IT'S YOU, TOO!
When millions of people have their info compromised and only a few run into actual problems, we get too complacent. We play the odds. "oh, why would they target me??"
Because they can.
We must demand our very nicely paid repreentatives in Congress stop whatever it is they do instead of governing and DO SOMETHING.
That number. That SSN. That's all they need to make lives hell.
I think it may be time for autolocking accounts at the credit bureaus so new accounts can't be opened by others. But even then who's safe? Equifax itself was hacked a while back. What a pain in the ass!
I have this HUGE ball of anger about it and no place to put it.
I need our govt to stop calling each other names and FIX THIS.
Again! AGAIN!!!
Again I'm told my information was very possibly stolen from SOMEONE I NEVER GAVE IT TO! An entity I didn't even know existed.
It's just lovely that a person can't fully function in human society any more without being online and in the clouds. So we give bits and pieces of ourselves to those we trust and those we must and they - without asking or telling us - pass it around like a joint at a Willie Nelson concert.
I'm so *fucking* sick of this shit

Social Security number of every single American stolen?
