I have this HUGE ball of anger about it and no place to put it.
I need our govt to stop calling each other names and FIX THIS.
That number. That SSN. That's all they need to make lives hell.
I think it may be time for autolocking accounts at the credit bureaus so new accounts can't be opened by others. But even then who's safe? Equifax itself was hacked a while back. What a pain in the ass!

Not sure how to fix something like this.....when I was first alerted to this several weeks ago, I took it personally, then found out this has happened to millions of people....you know there's always someone out there who wants what you have, and often times it's a simple password that keeps them at bay.....so, WTF now?
