My husband just lost a good friend to COVID. People may be “done” with the pandemic /epidemic, but COVID is NOT done with us.

I just learned that a friend of mine who had partial deafness with Covid has permanent partial deafness. It’s a documented thing. And yes, she was fully vaccinated. Reminder: Vaccination may not prevent contracting Covid, but only make it less severe.

I have been saying this for over a year.
Republicans, you may have some of the middle-of-the-road voters or you may have your base, which is Trump voters. You cannot have both of them.
The country is at a dangerous place because of the Republicans' desire to see us at a soft or hard civil war.
