Witnessed an Indigenous led prescribed grassland burn at High Park in yesterday. I think between Monday and yesterday my brain was trying to conflate the two events but also sometimes it is hard to put things into words, but there can be a serendipity of sorts.

Watching part 1 of β€œAngels in America; Millennium” at the Buddies and Bad Times in . Been so long since I’ve been to a live performance here; Here solo and loving the immersion.

While it’s nearly mid November, there are still pretty trees to be found (from a head clearing walk this morning- been in a bad head space lately)

Can you see the small bunny munching away in my garden? Happy to share dude; eat all the black eyed Susan flowers you want.

This little bunny lives in and around our urban laneway; they come into our yard, hang out, eat the weeds, and leave. We live near a cemetary/ravine system (where they're also at risk from foxes, etc).
I'm happy we can give them a little respite from the cars/dogs of the laneway - wish there was more I could do for them. Noticed more rabbits these last couple of years.

We have a mayoral election happening in June 26.
There are over 100 candidates.
I rarely believe anything a politician says during an election campaign- their end game is always about power.
I will be voting but not sure for who yet. Someone progressive.

First asparagus and rhubarb of the season at local farmer’s market this morning; going to be some stinky pee at my house later!

Happy .
This, and every day, I think about the environment, my place in it, and how I can help it.
(Think about what you eat, grow, how you move around)
Events all over the place but went to the Brickworks to visit the nursery in and found events by accident.
Farmer’s market, great use of space in the old brickworks, saw a film on urban gardening.
Bought apples and cheese.
Fun way to spend a wet day in the city.

Breakfast al fresco with a cardinal and sparrows vocal; the crescent Moon approaching the meridian in the south.
Sunny; calm, 12 degrees (C natch).
