My dad was in the Navy during WWII. He ended up on the Admiralty Islands in the Pacific and at one point became the "commander of the graves of the admiralties", or "comgravad". A fellow got quite drunk and as he was coming to, my dad was standing over him, taking measurements for a plot. This stint was successful in keeping the guy sober for a bit afterwards. R.I.P. pops.
I hope we all live long enough to find out the details of the kompromat that had certain individuals who long ago sharply criticized and now lick the boots. Like what could you possibly have done that is worth selling out an entire nation. What could you have done that was so bad that even becoming a turncoat a second time to save democracy couldn’t absolve?

it's on us to carry on their work now. but they didn't die or serve in vain. it was never a waste. not for the survivors of the camps, not for those who were liberated & wept for joy when they saw our tanks roll in.
it was never for nothing.
Every single person is trying to process where we are and what just happened. We all have our own personal reasons for sorrow and fear.
Please remember that as we come here to vent and cry and seek solace.
Let this be a safe place for us all. It may be the only one some of us have.
Remember #CoSoLove, because we are absolutely going to need it more than ever.

Ya it's bad. Gonna get worse.
I don't care about blame, or remorse.
I want to build, fix, and maintain, a different future.
But first we have to imagine it.
I am into solutions, bitching is ok but follow it up with the future you want to see.

I see failure, and failure is the best teacher there is. #InstructionalDesign

Law enforcement send "emergency" requests to tech giants when they believe it's necessary to stop an immediate threat. Hackers are taking advantage of that - The problem, as TechCrunch first reported, is that these requests are often sent to the tech giants through specific email addresses. And of course, persistent hackers are pretty good at breaking into email accounts, especially ones that often aren’t two-factor secured—but even those are penetrable through hacks like SIM swapping
It's so difficult to find the words to celebrate a CoSo legend and someone who has been my friend and conscience when my thoughts run astray. Truly wishing you an amazing birthday and I hope it's filled with magic and love. Happy Birthday Cher! 💐 🎉 ❤️
