For the first time in Poland's history, more women than men voted. Almost 75% of eligible women voted—a 12% increase over 2019. In comparison, 73% of eligible male voters cast a ballot.

Mat-Su kids walked out of school today at 10a for 56 minutes- 1 minute for each of the books the School Board is considering banning. This was completely student-led! The kids are doing amazing things in the Mat-Su!

At year end in 2022, our shelter helped just over 1500 women who left an abusive relationship. We have surpassed that number today, October 29.

This is just one shelter among the many in my state of 88 counties. Shelters across the country protecting woman, educating and empowering them to find their strength and dignity again.
