I just got a Twitter ad for "Coors Light, the official beer of drinking in the shower"
Am I that insulated from ads that I'm missing some running joke, or are they seriously hinting at they are the beer for alcoholics that can't wait 5 minutes?
@0x56 Cold beer in the shower after running or working out is the best, but yes, I'm pretty sure most of my friends are alcoholics and can't wait five minutes.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @0x56 I never realized shower drinking was a thing until a friend showed me she was remodeling her bathroom and her shower enclosure was specifically designed to have a nook that could hold a wine glass or two. 😳 Shortly after that, another friend showed me she can fit a beer bottle in her shower caddie between her shampoo and conditioner. I legit didn’t know this was a thing but apparently it really is. 🤷♀️

I've never thought to eat tater tots in the shower but as far as shower drinking goes never heard of it. Of course I'm out west in Desert so everything's different.
Drinking beer in a sauna - sure. You're sitting down, having a steam and getting warm.

Saunadrinks are 90% done outside the sauna. But then we get the occasional idiot in saunaparties that just HAS to show the brave foreigners and throws vodka on the stove. Bad buzz and short lived.
Bath drinks are good too. No drinks in the shower!

A good sauna drink is when you go out into the cool (preferably summer) night nekkid, pop open that cork, take a long swig, sigh sounding like a coca cola commercial, and sit outside contemplating the world until you feel chilly and then put the bottle down, go back to the sauna and repeat this for, oh, about 5-8 times.
A good sauna trip* should last a minimum of 2 hours. 4 is preferable.

i crack the window, and then make sure i do whatever takes two hands (shampoo) first, then i light it and kinda enjoy the steam while i smoke.
i have dropped one before, so ... it's not without tragedy. lol
@Evvie keep a lighter handy though, the moisture will make it go out towards the end.

I won't even so much as get into the shower or tub without my N2O rebreather mask & Nitrous Tank Mount™.
I prefer to shower & bathe in *extreme* comfort.

I can't even imagine being inebriated with any regularity in the shower: I would stumble & shatter a hip (or worse).
