We both know MANY people who are leaving Texas. Honestly, it's wild. For many years, the queer and trans people, and many of the women, I know have talked about leaving--and now, they're doing it.
I'm practically a recluse, and I personally know 7 people/families who are leaving Texas, two who are leaving the US.

@tyghebright you know of that crazy Dr. Bronner of the looney soap labels? He’d escaped Nazi Germany as the Nazis were ascendant, and the last he ever heard from his parents was a postcard that read “You were right. Your loving father”. His parents died in concentration camps.
