I know this is not current affairs, but I still find the past funny, esp. when it concerns MoscowMitch. What's that word,ah yes, 𝘴𝘀𝘩𝘒π˜₯𝘦𝘯𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘢π˜₯𝘦.

They've been warning us all week that a severe rain and thunderstorm will hit our state today. It's sunny and clear, but a huge foreboding gray cloud is way the hell west of us, but nothing is happening. The weather readers are wrong yet again. Shucks. The future is still unknown to us hoo-mans. Why even try?

So what I'm hearing is that RFK, Jr. is a bit of an early bird.

I just spent an hour watching "Fashion Week-the naked truth" it's a look into the life of model, businesswoman, social media star Emma Chamberlain. It's a life that is foreign/alien to mine. I've never seen anything like it. I'm dazzled. I watched it on the Bing video feed you get from Bing dot com. I had never heard of her, but I did google her afterward and was enlightened.

I used to read a lot before the Internet. I had books in bookcases, I can still read without glasses. Then I dumped my books because I sold my house and did not want to take my books with me because of the weight. I got a kindle when it came out and started reading on that. But somehow, I fizzled out. I opened it up yesterday and found that I had 25 books waiting for me. I pass. Maybe later I'll catch up.

This poster turned up in my X-feed, her name is Maggie Reed. She makes me laugh.

I finally reached the end of the community firehose yesterday so I switched to x.com to see how my timeline is doing. I was surprised that there is a lot of porn, but the posts are by the same people, and the porn is in the comments. Unattractive people for the most part. But it didn't take me long to block them. However, I have lots of funny vids to look at otherwise. And only ppl with the same liberal views populate my stream. It's from years of culling when I used to use that app.

I've had this video I edited for years. I was going thru my old video edits on google drive and found it. Sigh. It's about hobos that live in prime spots near the beaches and in easy walking distance to dumpsters that have food and redeemable containers in them.

I had a sharp pain in my chest this afternoon. it woke me from a nap. As I lay there thinking, I decided that I have so much crapola in my room, that I should make it easier on my family to get rid of most of it so they won't have too much to do after I pass into the dimension where there may not be a need for showers. But first I have to buy some large 33 gal gobbige bags.

When the pandemic started, I coincidentally moved to the west side. I confined my driving to this neighborhood because suddenly, a lot of stores and restaurants started opening thus I didn't see the need to go to other parts of the island. However, since I ran across some food vloggers 3 wks ago, I regretted not going outside of my comfort zone. There are tons of restaurants I never tried.Even mom & pop stores have secret comfort foods. My head is in the clouds! I resolve to change my ways.

Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
still loved, still missed & forever dear.

For "Franklin," It required that one pay close attention to the subtitles bc a lot of characters spoke French only. But I hung on and surprised myself by getting into the story of Ben Franklin tryna establish an alliance treaty during the revolutionary war. But alas! The streaming suddenly stopped bc not all episodes were released. D'oh!

I'm enjoying "Franklin" on Apple TV streaming. Michael Douglas who is quite aged is disguised as Dr. Franklin in France seeking to establish an alliance with France because America is near collapse, having lost every major battle thus far in the Revolutionary war. They need money, men, and supplies, in addition to ships. Washington thinks the end is near. That's all presented in the opening. As he ages, Mike resembles his father Kirk more and more.

I just checked my "Pervs" folder and discovered it had 154 files it it. Haw! I think I started it around 2022 bc I was bored.

Ive had this paper shredder for over a year, unused, in the box sitting on the floor. Yesterday, while going thru some papers I had with tax records and bills that I paid, I unpacked it and used it. Great fun. My last one was ruined by my g/kids when they were just teeny tiny kids. They kept feeding it toys, coins, and rubbish. I had disconnected the power cord so their fingers were safe. When I turned it on, it ground to a stop, unable to digest what was in it! That was in 2007.

I finished with City Hunter, I watched but did not finish The Dead Boy Detectives. This is a cheeky story, very well done. I'm on episode 3, I think they're about an hour long for each episode. I was about ready to fall asleep, so I stopped after episode 2. The boys are dead and they're detectives. They rescued a psychic who was possessed, not unwillingly at first.

... what would become one of the most beloved children’s characters of all time. The real Winnie lived at the London Zoo until her death in 1934.

One of the earliest Hawaiian songs I ever heard was something that as a kid I heard every May 1st. It is called π˜”π˜’π˜Ί π˜‹π˜’π˜Ί π˜ͺ𝘴 π˜“π˜¦π˜ͺ π˜‹π˜’π˜Ί π˜ͺ𝘯 𝘏𝘒𝘸𝘒π˜ͺπ˜ͺ π˜•π˜¦π˜ͺ. It's bc for elementary school kids, May Day is celebrated by singing and dancing. If we weren't dancing to the Hokey Pokey, we were dancing to the Lei Day song. When you're old, a big part of your life is nostalgia. Haw!
