@process THAT'S got to be RU disinformation to sew discord between generations. π€
Agree. I was a kid when avocado and harvest gold, orange, and brown were the 'it' colors.
Even then, I hated them on appliances, tiles, etc. Blecchh
@VictoriaLandis1 Burnt orange carpet and tiles. The perfect counterpoint to an avocado bathroom suite π€£π€£ @process
Yup. π€£ My aunt had an obnoxious kitchen wallpaper with huge flowers using all those colors. God, it was ugly.
@VictoriaLandis1 I actually deliberately went to charity shops to decorate an apartment in that style.
Curtains with huge psychedeclic flowers in purple, orange and yellow. Lava lamps. A kidney table. Afghan carpet rugs and wall hangings. The works. It was simultaneously hideous and wonderful.
I . . . don't know what to say to that.
A good place to watch Austin Powers movies, maybe?
@VictoriaLandis1 It was fun. I needed fun. Perfect spot for listening to.Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa.
@process

@process Avocado porcelain is a bright color? I've always heard it described as a drab.
Well, it's a color. In an era when 99% of all homes and apartments have all white everything.
@tyghebright @process All-cheapest they can get away with neutral-everything. : p
@tyghebright @process I feel like we've lowered the bar for our expectation of bright and colorful.
; )
