Morning gym post is go!
Leg day. I used the Hack squat machine for the first time and I like it! It feels a lot safer than doing the normal free weight squat and everything from my lower back down is sore.
Otherwise a solid session, my cardio is coming back, and I'm facing a difficult decision as to, do I want to start running again?
I love to run... I'm a long distance runner, but I keep getting hurt and I'm tired of that.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN WHy thank you! I was only doing 95 lbs on the hack squat, but it worked me plenty!
The thing I'm really excited about is I finally hit 100 lbs in the seated row.
@NiveusLepus Good morning bunny! It is peeing it down and I'm sorting out work related things and not doing much as regards physical activity. So happy to have rain though, the heat was not good for me at all.
@Cynanthrope Good morning dear doggo!
@Cynanthrope Im happy to hear you're getting some rain and some down time.
They'll be plenty of mud puddles for you to pounce on the morrow. ^_^
@NiveusLepus I want to dig the ground where the potatoes once grew. I love that exercise, strangely addictive and I love the smell of soil.
I know a few runners who, due to injuries over time, switched to cycling. If your knees and hips are reasonably sound, maybe an option?
@Cosmichomicide Exactly. I'm using the elliptical and working towards higher and higher resistance. No shock on the down step, and its still working me.
I'm hoping this can save my knees for when I do need to run, like when I'm traveling, and my hiking. ^_^
@NiveusLepus IMPRESSIVE!
