@PaganMother I'd say it sounds like positive impact! 💜 We don't own the Earth and we're not just borrowing it...we're part of it. Caring for the planet is larger scale self-care. This tradition sounds wonderful!

@th3j35t3r It's been years since the last time I heard this song, and now I'm thinking of how many things this can apply to. There's a lot more in it for me now than there was "back then".

I kind of wish I had not spent what energy I had for the day vacuuming...but I don't dread looking at the floor now.

I've been working on something for a week, and now that it's finished... I hate it.

@AkomoCombine Those are great gifs! I haven't made any in years, but I remember getting them to be smooth was a challenge for me. And the more animation, the more work. Yours are nice!

@PaganMother Sometimes I feel kind of alone as the only pagan in the house. I like solitary practice. I am a member of a few Orders that are good for socializing when I want to discuss things. This time of year, though, I wish there were shared practices within the house. Something to bring us together through the winter.

@PaganMother I just can't get into Christmas. The high commercialization, not having the family I grew up with... It makes me dread it. So I said I would try to find my Christmas spirit in creative things. We'll see how that goes.

Decorating in a family mixed with agnostics, pagans, and Christians is...an experience.

I've worked out the details with the biggest Star Wars fan in the house, and we've decided I'll be making a Star Wars nativity scene for Christmas this year.

@Tattoomonkey29 I have apologized to my plants for not having the energy to talk to them while watering them. Some days, that's the best I can do for conversation.

I know I've been feeling cranky lately, but this is a new level for me. I just walked through the house, saw no family members, and said to my cat when I got to my room, "I don't want to see people anyway. People are ugly and make noise."

Cat says I'm not wrong.
