@Siren_six Rural votes counted first, then cities. Early votes counted last. Still reason to hold onto a sliver of hope.
@DavidSalo @JV3MJD Calling for opponents to be murdered also violates term of the felon's release from jail.
#VoteHarrisWalz2024 We must continue to fight after election to ensure our votes are counted and Trump doesn’t steal election.
@BillyBones RFK Jr gonna tell you the one on the right cures COVID and brain worms.😉
I like newspapers that weren't captured by fascists. Even when they have a history of exasperating both-sides-ism.

Republicans just made their biggest mistake of 2024. They told the truth...

Voters must believe them. Gift link:

Shared your same concerns. Middle America not ready for openly gay president. Or are they? His military career, critical mind & communication skills are exemplar.
I was wrong about US not ready for woman president, especially of color. Could be wrong about Buttigieg too.
MAGA notwithstanding, America seems on the precipice of real social advancement.
Dare we dream?
@LnzyHou @lisaannlm Yes, please do dream.
It's still amazing when I consider the vanishingly small number of human interactions in which it makes the slightest difference the sexual orientation of the person, or their race, gender, or religion.
Just what a predator protecting *his* woman would say: don't make me hurt you. What MAGA protecting America says.
“We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”
There’s Something Very Different About Harris vs. Trump https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/03/opinion/trump-harris-election-day.html
@LnzyHou @lisaannlm I once speculated that we might one day have our first gay president. My gay friend corrected me: first openly gay president. You never know.
Buttigieg was my first choice to replace Biden, though I worried about his orientation, her gender, and her race. Both are very smart. He is an effective speaker who could run a great campaign, and I doubted her political acumen. Thank God I was wrong about that. Hope I was also wrong to worry about bigoted voters.
@JV3MJD It appears he cannot stop thinking about Arnold Palmer.😉

@LnzyHou @lisaannlm Stein fooled me too, though I still voted for centrist Clinton. Stein has the authentic background and credentials. I have to believe she is not an active Russian agent but "merely" a "useful idiot" duped into doing the Kremlin's bidding.

@lisaannlm @LnzyHou And many voted Jill Stein, fooled into thinking she is a leftist, rather than merely a tool of Putin.
@lisaannlm @LnzyHou For me voting Harris was easy. If the choice had been Trump or Cheney I'd vote Cheney despite disagreeing with her on almost everything. Except a shared love of democracy. The choice would still be easy.
@BillyBones I hope you're right!
@BillyBones Hmm, Cohen is a millionaire, a Democrat, and a big Trump donor. Which leaves me wondering is he: 1. Shocked that evidence exists showing Trump may be a sexual predator? Or 2. Angry that such evidence was not suppressed.?
@MakerWerks @JV3MJD So often they're right, laws are for the little people. If Musk can move it to federal court and Trump wins he will pardon him or simply order doj to drop the case.

“ The Starfleet Gazette will not be endorsing a candidate in the upcoming election for president of the United Federation of Planets. This decision was not made lightly, but neither of the two candidates—decorated Starship Voyager Captain Kathryn Janeway or The Borg—has shown us a real path to endorsement, and we must stay true to our priorities: journalistic integrity and not pissing off The Borg.”
