SAME. But I suspect this list may have been made by a Millennial.

I'm a bit disappointed by the omission of ditto machines / the smell of ditto fluid.

@voltronic @Saorsa

The smell of hitting a whole roll of caps, with a hammer.

@voltronic

Is that another name for the Spiritmaster? Copies, but in blue, crank the handle?

@corlin @Saorsa

@Vanitas
I assume that was a brand name; I've never heard of it. But that's what I'm talking about. I'm old enough to have been given dittos as a student, but not quite old enough to have used the machine as a teacher.

Mimeograph. Yep I remember those from college and the IBM typewriter the Selectric I think it was called. Some high tech shit

@Saorsa @voltronic @corlin

We didn't have enough IBM Selectric typewriters for the whole class. You had to start with a manual, then compete (wpm and accuracy) to get the Selectric.

Also, my phone has no emoji for a typewriter 🤣

@voltronic @corlin @Saorsa

I was a student aid to a teacher when I got to make copies of worksheets

@voltronic it was so exciting when the teacher picked YOU to go turn the crank on the ditto machine! @corlin @Saorsa

@voltronic I think you're right.
The youngest Millennial is now 25 years old. Some are in their 40s! There are plenty of them who'd score zero.
Gen Z on the other hand wouldn't know what some of those things *are* 🤣
