📢 Calling all #cosomusicians and #musicproduction people!!!
I have just been referred to the greatest website ever for sharing recordings with clients/collaborators. It supports lossless file playback, multiple file versioning, commenting, etc. Even the free version includes 25 GB space and is feature packed.
You need this now!

Here's a share of stereo recording samples using different microphones and arrays from the old DPA website:

I think you and your clients might be interested in this.
@voltronic
Thanks.
Looks very promising.
@voltronic Thanks, Volty!
@voltronic My question: how are they paying for this - what is their business model?
Are they using all uploaded data to train AI or something?
@IrelandTorin
There are various ways you can pay wall access to your music, and they take a transaction fee. You only have that option if you are on a paid tier.
There are multiple paid tiers for accounts and obviously they make money that way.
One of the devs reached out to me immediately after I signed up wanting to know why I'm impressions and how they could help which, is a great first impression.
^ Before listening, make sure you scroll to the bottom, open Audio Options, and enable Lossless Audio. Paid tiers allow you to have this enabled by default for your recipients.
Also, if anyone's really into this stuff: files 04a and 04b are my own edits of the DPA originals. I was attempting to get the 4060 omni lavs to sound as close as possible to the flagship-tier 4006 omnis using manual EQ curves and also using iZotope RX EQ Match.
None of this is available on the DPA website anymore.
