I've never been one to put stickers on a laptop.
I think that's about to change. Refurbished T480s just ordered, and Inhave some good stickers sitting around that need a home. I can't afford to attend infosec conferences, but at least I can pretend.

The first ones are definitely going to be "I void warranties", followed by "Error reading drive A:\ - Abort, Retry, Fail?"
@voltronic both classics 👍
@voltronic Along with various vendor stickers, my Framework Chromebook also hosts stickers advising "Warning: this device contains atoms" and "Caution: gets kind of warm".
@john_b
That reminds me of a sticker I was going to get for some of my audio recording gear:
Danger: High Ohmage
@voltronic
Some of my favorites iirc if I can find them online:
"May contain dormant cyber pathogens"
"the strongest steel is forged in the fire of a dumpster"
"Five Eyes Backdoors and Spies"
"protected by pew pew maps"
@KAutumnrain @john_b
OK, I think this is the greatest laptop sticker ever. It works on multiple levels when you consider the context of it being on a computer.

My next laptop will probably have some of these:

Those are hilarious! I think the Infinite Recursion is my favorite.
@voltronic I've only started stickering my laptops in the last two years or so, and it's definitely helped with their performance.
