My son built a new rig tonight. His old rig was 9 yrs old (except gps)
Anyway the traveling lights inside (side and front are glass) are beautiful.
I love it because it's an excellent object of #mindfulness w/o him even realizing it.
Does this make sense? I started like this (breaks in the storm) & then watching cats, then meditation came much easier.
The benefits have been incredible and noticed by all in family. Tl;dr

Evaluating new mindful meditation app called Evolve
It's much cheaper than others (29/year) and presents mindful activities in a daily check list which helps very much to stay in practice when under tremendous stress (like what recently happened in our home)
Hopefully we won't ever have anything like that happen again
Fyi my son is back to his normal self. He believes all the negative side effects of withdrawal are over.
I do like the check list aspect to stay on track. Nice lessons too π§ββοΈπ
Damn. Just had a choking incident with water. This is 3rd time I experienced true choking (no air no noise, everything just freezes and throat closes.
After my throat closed, i relaxed into a meditative state and focused only on getting air. After 30 seconds I could get tiny sips of air through.
I was about to hit my emergency signal on my phone when my daughter heard me - after about 10 mins of slow breathing, my full breath returned.

Since technically I'm back to work (nor all my credentials are back) but now that I'm back to work I can really appreciate Fridays again!
This is a nice list on dealing with pain. Can be useful for physical or emotional.
The quote below helps me elevate my consciousness above my "self" to comfort me.

Good morning, I have a legal question
My son is an adult, lives at home due to issues, does not work rn due to issues - so he has no money
Will he qualify for public defender or would they force parents to pay? I expect this may cost over 10-20k maybe more.
I don't want to sell off stock from retirement account. (But absolutely will if needed)

Plus my son is on aspergers spectrum and the terrible sleep disorder. We are going to make sure we have this all documented
I know my son bears responsibility - but what this mother fucker did to my son and our home is unbelievable! These ppl are evil and most ppl have no clue what kind of predators these are.
We have a whole slew of his texts that really show how bad this guy's narcissism is.
The manipulation is astounding.
